I am so not going through a drawing phase at the moment. I was quite productive when it came to writing a few weeks ago, but now all I can think of is getting a job. Speaking of which, for anyone wishing to create their own website, I highly recommend Bravenet. They have a website wizard for beginners, a WYSIWYG app for more advanced users (which I'm proud to say I now am), and most importantly, it's free. Srsly. Try it.

This is very late in coming, but I've finally gotten round to creating my profile. So, hi! I'm Ceallai, or Kelly, and I'm on here to see just how good - or not - I am at writing and drawing. Any constructive criticism very welcome. I live in France, and though I write mostly in English, I don't speak it enough and have a tendency to add Frenchisms to my speech. I apologize.

My mother is an artist, so I'm extremely critical of other peoples' work and especially my own, possibly too much so. I would especially like some comments on my writing (once I get some of it up, it could take a while) because it's my speciality. I'm not an excellent artist, but I wish to improve. So far I'm not too bad at faces (especially half-profiles), my weaknesses lie in getting folds, clothes and body positioning right. I'm hopeless at colouring and not much good at shading.

I have a tendency to start stories without finishing them. I admire people who can write short stories, I find them incredibly difficult. I've done a bit of poetry, which I'll probably incorporate into some of my stories.
